It lives up to its quality as the oil needs to be go through several inspections to pass as extra virgin. Then the oil extracted from the second pressing would be called virgin olive oil. Lastly, the fruit that have already gone through the second pressing will go through chemical process so they can extract the oil and it is labeled as pomace olive oil. Pure olive oil is usually a blend of virgin olive oil and refined olive oil.

Omega 9 is what the olive oil is made out of. Omega 9 not only helps to prevent cancer, it is also food for your skin. Olive oil is also a monounsaturated fat that is healthy to the heart and contains polyphenols which is a strong antioxidant. Other than having Omega 9, olive oil also contains vitamin K, E, A, squalene, triterpenes and oleocanthol.
Substituting olive oil into your daily life can be easy. Though it is a bit bitter, there is other blend of olive oil that has a milder taste. Stop your daily usual usage of margarine or butter as a spread, you can olive oil as an substitute instead. Margarine is animal oil that has gone through a hydrogenation process to help it stay on the shelf longer. Olive oil is a pure fruit extract that did not go through any chemical process. So their differences are big. Olive oil is healthy enough that you can just eat it on its own. You will not fall short if you attempt to look for cooking recipes for olive oil. You start off substituting your cooking oil with olive oil.
